Your Work Of Faith!

1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lorg Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.

I am pressed for time today! I am excited about the prospects of this Lord's day! My best friends are visiting from West Virginia. As I read the Holy Scripture this morning my thoughts were arrested by this verse.

I am amazed, when I think about how and who the Lord chooses to use, in keeping us on the mission field. I get to serve the Living God in a fulltime capacity. I am having the time of my life working with and among the Military at Fort Benning.

I think about the sacrifices of many whom have a desire to pratner with us daily. Many people of faith pray and give so we can present the Gospel to soldiers.

My prayer this morning echos the words of the Apostle:

I remember without ceasing your work of faith,

I remember your labor of love.

I remember your patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am thankful that you do all this for me not in my sight (alone), but in the sight of God and our Father.

I thank God for all of you! May He bless you this day!

  1. tHE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TOWITNESS IS TO SIMPLY TELL HOW GOD SAVED YOU.
WHEN THE HOLY GHOST AWAKENED ME TO THE FACT THAT I WAS A SINNER, AND TO THE JUDGMENT I WAS UNDER, HE WROUGHT CONVICTION, AND THEN DREW ME TO CHRIST BY INDITING THE TAUGHT WORD OF GOD TO MY HEART, SHOWING THAT CHRIST WAS MY ONLY HOPE. THEN I CRIED OUT FOR MERCY, ON THE BASIS THAT CHRIST DIED FOR SINNERS, AND I WAS THE SINNER. THEN HE SAVED ME BY REVEALING CHRIST TO ME. MY BURDEN OF SIN WAS LIFTED, AND PERFECT PEACE FILLED MY SOUL.
