Proverbs 17:6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
We took off over a week ago! Our plan was to spend time with our extended family. What we got was a blessed adventure.
We arrived just two hours before the life changing event took place. We scurried to get to the hospital in time. Parking place found and a quick rush to the waiting room, then a brief visit to the room before it happened.
Madilyn Grace Ingram made her debut, I believe she needed her Pe-Paw to be there for her. He was there waiting to spoil her. Madilyn is so blessed, she has a great family on both sides, so many people to help her. I thank God for this precious little life. I trust God to make her all that he needs her to be!
We are now fully involved in our adventure! My crown is full! My Children's Children are here or will be here very soon.
Easton is my step grandson! I love him, he is bright, good looking, and is growing into a wonderful young man. He is attentive to his Mother's needs, He hovers over his new sister tenderly touching and kissing her. He is a good helper! recently he is questioning things he has learned about the lord! I have learned that we need to be tender at times.
Ethan is my step grandson too, He is full of energy, I believe he is a close kin to superman, he can leap tall buildings, run faster than a locomotive. He questions everything! He makes me laugh, and he is in a constant state of play! He is easy to love! He gives love freely! It will be exciting to see God shape him through the years to come. I have learned to be energetic in life, it makes thing more interesting.
Allison, my oldest granddaughter! bouncy, bright, and fun to be near. If I had to nail down one thing to describe her it would be "adaptable" I watched her many times switch activities to suit the thing going on. She is very loving, expressing her love many, many times each day. She wants my total attention, and yet she willingly shares me with others. She has taught me to be adaptable.
Nathan, my grandson. He is laid back, somewhat quiet. His eyes tells his mindset! He is full of life and rarely is in a hurry! He gets things done in his own time. He has a wonderful imagination and is ready to bring you into his world in a moments notice. He can manipulate me with one look, and he knows it. I learn from him to take life not so seriously.
McKenzie is my grand daughter. She is serious, and is a planner. She worries about everything. She is tough, yet tender. Brave yet scared. I love that she always wants to pray about things, (everything!). She has a simple faith in the Lord that bleeds over into everything in her life. She loves freely and hugs tightly! She wants everyone to feel loved! She has taught me it is o.k. to be tough and tender, brave and scared! she has taught me to pray more and worry less, and that everyone needs love.
Keagan is my grandson, fast, quick, speedy! He has been blessed by being a big kid for his age. I see him as a lot older than he is. He shows me some neat things. Independent and free thinking. Most of the time he goes along with the flow, but at times he marches to the beat of a different drummer. He teaches me that a second can actually be many minuets! He teaches me that people judges you by size and not by ability. He teaches me that it is alright to be big and act in small ways.
Yes I have a great crown in my children's children. and my children's children have great Fathers! (and Mothers)!
