Make It!

Colossians 4: 4
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

God blessed us last night! he allowed 10 soldiers to attend the Bible Study! These soldiers were there for the first time. I get excited when we get a new crop! These soldiers looked like they were good men! they were polite, appreciative of everything we do.

These guys are my hero's! they will graduate very soon, and most will deploy to a hostile area around the world within the next 12 months. 6 Soldiers listened to the clear presentation of the Gospel, and God moved in their hearts and allowed me to reap a harvest of new souls. I realized my words had an impact in eternity. I desire that I never forget I must make the Gospel manifest to the lost! I must speak as I ought!

The Apostle allows us to see a tender side of his great desire. He allow us to see a consuming detail of his life. I believe a lot of so called "preachers" say what they want without regard to what the Word Of God actually says. I deal with a lot of mixed up "Christians" that regurgitate sentences they heard in a church service, but can not back it up in the Holy Word of God.

I often tell the Soldiers that I am Baptist by trade, but if I could magically make them a Baptist I WOULD NOT, instead I would make them BIBLICISTS! I would give them the ability to search and find the answers to life from the source of life.

I pray to God, that more and more men of God would seek to be "Biblical" instead of "baptistic". I also believe if you are "Biblical" more than likely you will become a True Baptist!

That I may make it manifest.

Notice the definition of the word "manifest" readily perceived by the senses and especially by the sight, easily understood or recognized by the mind.

When we preach or proclaim the Gospel, we would do well to remember that every word we speak is important and has the potential to hold the keys to eternal life. Stop using theological jargon, or trying to impress others with our ability to define the Greek and Hebrew words. We should set out to lay the Gospel to the lost at a level where it can be "readily perceived" we need to be able to paint a picture that engages the senses, especially by the sight. Bottom line can the lost see what you are saying.

The Gospel is simple! it is easily understood, it can be understood, recognized and grasped by the human mind (that is being wooed by the Spirit of God).

As I ought to speak.

We have a great job, spreading the Gospel! We are employed by God to speak His word! We need to be able to "speak as I ought" God is more than willing to use our words to see His will done around the world! It is important that we Speak as we ought!

How we present the Gospel to the Lost world is a matter of eternal life or eternal death (damnation).

HOW DO YOU SPEAK?
