Start The Press!

Philippians 3:14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I would like to think I am goal oriented! I would like for you to think I am goal oriented! The truth is I don't do as good of a job at it as I should. I frustrate myself more times than not in reaching goals.

I have heard that if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Most people like to live just a tad bit above mediocre. God never intended us to be normal, he designed and desires for His children to accomplish great things for Him. The world needs for Christians to lead the way. Christians are set apart for the world to observe as great commercials to cause them to want to imitate and enjoy the Christian lifestyle.

1. I Press
The word "press" can be defined like this: Crowding forward together, An apparatus to shape one into a new form. propperly smoothed and creased condition (look sharp!), to gaither, publish, and broadcasting the (good) news.

2. The mark.
The word "mark" can be defined like this: A conspicuous object serving as a guide for travelers, a standard of performance, quality, or condition, a symbol used for identification or indication of ownership.

3. The prize.
The word "prize" can be defined like this: something offered or striven for, something exceptionally desirable,

4. The high calling.
The word "calling" can be defined like this: a strong inner impulse toward a particular course of action especially when accompanied by conviction of divine influence, the vocation or profession in which one customarily engages.

What a great verse! we need to adopt this a our daily creed. We must claim this as our goal so the world may see these four things.

The world needs to see that Christians; "Press toward", "The mark" for the "Prize" of "The high calling" of GOD in CHRIST JESUS!
