The Glory And Handywork Of God

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Today is Saturday, I just watched the weather report and it is going to be mild beautiful day. I have planned to play a while at my hobby, my friend may come over too. It promises to be a wonderful day!

I do not believe in coincidence, so when I read this Psalm it doubly blessed my heart.

The heavens declare the glory of God:

I love to stare off into the sky allowing my mind and heart to drift to the thought that God has and is revealing himself in the beauty of the sky. I love the sunshine, the fall colors, the briskness of the air. I dream a bit about eternity with the creator of all that I am seeing with the flawed eyes of a human. I imagine that I will experience a infinitely more enhanced visions when enter into the eternal city.

I am amazed to think how God has given us a skewed glimpse of what is truly His GLORY!

And the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Last night we were returning to our home, as we got out of the car my wife noticed a hanging basket that we have given up on had started to bloom again. We have not once watered or fertilized this basket in more than 2 months. This new-birth is totally from God. It blows my mind to get excited about a gallon pot that has a few buds, to think about the cycle of God's love for man in that He offers a New Birth to any who will receive by faith His gift of salvation is almost to much to take in.

I am thankful that God moves upon my heart and causes me to see His Glory and His handyword
