Give!, Give Unto the Lord!

Psalm 29:1
1Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Pure worship! this is the first thought that came to my mind as I read the Psalm. The eleven verses ascribe much praise and worship to God. It would serve you well to read and meditate upon the blessed words found before us!

Give unto the Lord,

I do not understand why it is so hard to give, but it is! Giving is a trait that must be developed, and refined. Giving involves so many aspects of our daily make up! We give up time, treasure, and talents. We offer words, thoughts, and feelings. We give to the poor, needy, and organizations that provide needed support.

God is above all these things and He deserves the best and the most of everything we could possibly ever offer

O ye mighty,

Every child of God is a partner with God! We become a viable force to be reckoned with. We are mighty in the Lord. Because of this partnership, we are commanded and reminded that we are to give! We are to give our all!

Mighty men lead by example! Mighty men develop strong traits in others! Mighty men do as they are commanded. God is looking for His children to be mighty men! Have you been, and are you now a mighty man?

Give unto the Lord glory and strength.

As mighty men, we do everything for a reason! The main reason for us to be mighty men of God, it to offer to give the Lord all the glory we can give Him and all our strength that is due him. God gains strength (in the world) when we stand mightily as strong witnesses for Him to a lost and dying world.
