The Earth is!

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

He's got the whole world in His hands, He's got the whole world in His hands, He's got the whole wide world in His hands!

Some songs teach so much truth, in such a simple way. I believe that the leaders of the various parts of this world are totally off their rockers. Global warming, going green, and pseudo-scientific false claims does not bother me, because God is the creator and manager of this big blue ball.

The Psalmist states three outstanding facts that puts me at ease.

Fact #1
The earth is the Lord's,

Since the Lord created it and He has never relinquished ownership, the indisputable proof is that "The earth IS the Lord's." Every grain of dust to the awesome heights of the mountains are his. Every drop of water, drop of rain, and drop in humidity belongs to him. The hours of day light and darkness is His! Plain and simple, The Lord has title to and the right to do anything and everything to this spinning orb, "It is HIS!"

Fact #2
And the fullness thereof;

We need to realize that every aspect, right down to the total number of hairs on all the balding heads of the world are viewed and controlled under the watchful eye of the Lord. The chemical composition will not change by one particle unless the Lord so orders it. Governments like China, may try to limit births, but the Lord ultimately decides the population and death rates.

We should not worry too much about such things, remember our song! "He's got the whole world in His hands!"

Fact #3
The world, and they that dwell therein.

Not only is the whole wide world his, but YOU my friend are His! The Lord died on the cross to secure salvation from an eternity of fire and brimstone, separated from Him. He gave his all willingly! The least we can do is to give Him our heart to save.

For the Christian, our response to the Lord's love should drive us to tell others.

I believe in "Eternal Warming" for those who reject His free offer of salvation in and through Jesus Christ. I also believe in "Eternal Tranquility" for those who believe.
