For Praise Is!

Psalm 33:1
1Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

We are on a praise fest! I enjoy taking an old hymn book and leafing through the pages allowing my mind, heart and voice tune to the praise these offer to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Word of God, is packed full of praises to the King of kings, and Lord of lords. The Psalms is the first place we should turn to to see how to praise!

Rejoice in the Lord,

do you get "Glad" in the Lord? Are you "Glad" in the Lord about what He is doing in your life? Are you "Glad" about every aspect of your life, you should be, because the Lord is in control! He has every second of your life planned and is working to bring the best in your life!

Do you derive any "delight" in walking with the Lord day by day? The thought of spending time with the Lord, God of the universe cause you to get excited? Many in our world "delight" in many things that have no lasting value. Things that are burned up, rust, dissolve, and disappear! Sporting events, activities that entertain for a moment in time but fades quickly!

I rejoice in the Lord! Do You?

O Ye righteous:

Because our righteousness is in the Lord, it should be automatic for us to rejoice in the Lord! He saved us from eternal punishment in Hell, He redeemed us, qualifying us for the privilege to worship Him in spirit and in truth!

Because He is our righteousness, we should praise the Lord constantly! Are you righteous? Has the Lord given you the honor to be righteous?

You can trust in the Lord who went to the cross of Calvary to purchase your way into heaven, He shed His blood to cover all your sins, He died in your place paying for your sins, was laid in a borrowed tomb, and on the third day rose from the dead to ensure you the hope and realization of eternal life living in His presence! Would you receive this free gift today? Ask the Lord to forgive your sins, tell Him you believe he will save your soul, invite Him into you life, helping you to have a daily relationship with Him!

For praise is comely for the upright.

I am saved, redeemed, made right in the Lord's sight! When I praise Him for all this wonderful free gift that He has given me, the Lord sees me as a different person! He sees me as comely and good looking!

Rejoice in the Lord! (today!)
